Lot Title:
Six Bust half-dollars, lettered edge.
Description:
Half a dozen attributed capped bust half-dollars make up this lot, dated toward the latter half of the series. Dates and grades include: 1825 O-105 (XF-40), 1828 O-121 R.4 (VF-30/cleaned), 1830 O-102 "sm 0" (XF-45),l 1832 O-104 (XF-40/reverse corrosion line), 1834 O-102 "lg dt, lg lt" (VF-35), and 1834 O-109 "sm dt, sm lt" (XF-40). Except where noted, these are fully original pieces with no problems, and the 1830 displays plenty of luster for the assigned grade. Six coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
