Lot Title:
Two sets of 1878 Morgan dollar type coins in Capital Plastics holders.
Description:
Capital Plastics holders feature a nice grouping of Morgan dollars, all dated 1878. Altogether, they comprise a double run of 1878 8TF, 1878 7TF, 1878 7/8TF, 1878-CC and 1878-S coins. The grades range from AU-58 through MS-63, although the two sliders included are arguably suitable for an MS-60 grade. Mostly white overall, a single 1878 7/8 TF features a crescent of pastel rainbow tone, as does the reverse of one 1878 7TF. Ten coins in total.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
