Lot Title:
Forty-three Morgan dollars.
Description:
Exceeding two rolls in count, almost every one of these Morgan dollars is a wailing blast-white lustrous coin, with an occasional speck or accent of tone to be seen here and there. Although all are common dates, some of these coins are amazingly nice and must be given GEM consideration. Included are: 1880-O, 1880-S (PL at least), 1882-O/O VAM-7 (Top-100, fantastic early die-state), 4x 1883-O, 4x 1884-O, 4x 1886, 1889, 1890, 1890-S, 1891, 4x 1898-O, 5x 1899-O, 3x 1901-O (one is only MS-60), 4x 1902-O (two are lightly toned), 1904-O, 4x 1921, and 3x 1921-D. Forty-three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
