(About The Images)
1884-CC PCGS VF-35. 1884-CC PCGS VF-35.
Lot Title: 1884-CC PCGS VF-35.
Description: Original quality is blatantly obvious, since both sides are completely draped in classic ashy mustard-gold patina, augmented in some protected areas by honey accents. The assigned grade is attuned to strict wear, since there are no major blemishes of note, the only detriment being a minor scratch zigzagged beneath the tip of the eagle's right (observed) wing. 1884-CC is one of the more plentiful Carson City gold double eagles, with some premium as usual for the cachet of the popular mintmark.
