Lot Title:
Sixteen certified Morgan dollars.
Description:
Morgan dollars fill up this larger lot, with only a few duplicates, and all are in PCGS slabs unless noted otherwise. They include: 1881 (NGC MS-64, near PL and attractively rim toned), 2x 1882 (MS-64, one a green-label holder), 1883-O (NGC MS-65, weakly struck), 1883-O (MS-64), 1884 (MS-64), 1885 (ANACS small holder MS-63, lovely tone), 1886 (rattler MS-63, heavily overgraded and has glue residue), 1887 (MS-64), 1889 (MS-64), 1890-S (MS-64), 1891-S (green-label MS-64), 1898-O (green-label MS-64), 1899-O (MS-63, highly unusual mottled mustard-gold toning), 1902-O (MS-64), and 1902-O (NGC no-line MS-64). Sixteen coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
