1783 Washington Unity States Cent VF, 1783 Washington Small Military Bust Cent VF and Undated (1790 - 1810) Washington Success Token, Large Size, VG..
Description:
George Washington is celebrated on each of these copper tokens, issued near the start of the 19th century. They are cataloged as: 1783 UNITY cent, Breen-1188, Baker-1, Vlack 27-W (115.7 grains, extremely-fine, but obverse has been cleaned), 1783 small military bust copper, Breen-1201, Baker-4a, Vlack 1-A (112.7 grains, very-fine, reverse rim bump), undated Washington success token, Breen-1288, Baker-265A (66.4 grains, fine details, but the obverse is laden with ancient scratches). Despite the plethora of scratches on this last coin, they are almost missed at arm's length viewing. Three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
