Lot Title: Four CC GSA Morgan dollars Plus three New Orleans Mint Morgan dollars.
Description: Morgan dollars make up this lot, and some of them are in GSA holders. Those include: 1878-CC (MS-60), 1880-CC (MS-61), 1884-CC (MS-60), and 1885-CC (MS-62). The remaining Morgan dollars are listed as: 1879-O (AU-58, a true slider), 1889-O (MS-62), and 1892-O (MS-60/altered surfaces). The 1889-O is obviously a grade-sensitivity date, and this example would grade fully MS-63 if not for a reed mark on Liberty's chin that is just a touch too strong for the bump. The 1892-O has a gorgeous MS-64 reverse, but the left obverse field and possibly Liberty's cheek seem to have been carefully processed in some unknown manner, perhaps to hide abrasions? It is another grade-sensitive issue that must be considered with care. The GSA dollars are rather mundane overall in this seven coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
