This Whitman Morgan dollar album for coins dated 1878 - 1891 inclusive houses an interesting assembly of pieces, very few of which are uncirculated. These coins are mostly in the grade range of F - XF, with a few of the more interesting grades listed as follows: 1878 8 TF (MS-60), 1878 7/8 TF ("weak") (AU/cleaned), 1878-CC (XF), 1879-CC (G/harshly cleaned), 1880-CC (XF-45 and strangely compelling), 1881-CC (AU/album toned), 1882-CC (VF), 1883-CC (VG and actually difficult to find this well circulated), 1884-CC (MS-60/altered surfaces), 1885-CC (MS-62), and 1885-S (XF-45 and truly, completely original).
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC.
