(About The Images)
1894 NGC PF-65. 1894 NGC PF-65.
Lot Title: 1894 NGC PF-65.
Description: Perhaps unusual for an era that saw many cameo proof coins, this 1894 nickel displays little contrast on either side, even though the fields are somewhat reflective. This may have been a later striking, since there is noticeable cartwheel effect, which tends to occur as the proof dies begin to erode with extended use. Still, delineation of design elements is very sharp, right down to each kernel of grain on the reverse. Spot- and haze-free.
Low Estimate: $500.00
High Estimate: $600.00
