Lot Title:
1882-CC GSA MS-64 PL.
Description:
Stark white and absolutely untoned, with watery fields forming a suitable backdrop for a prooflike designation. A problem-free coin whose grade is entirely determined by micro-abrasions in the fields.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Three 1882-CC GSA Morgan dollars. Unc.
GSA dollars dated 1882-CC that grade MS-64, MS-63 and MS-63. No boxes or certificates in this three coin lot. |
639 | The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008 | $1,950.00 |
1882-CC and 1884-CC (x2) Morgan dollars.
GSA dollars, two of them certified, and all very nice. An 1882-CC is graded by PCGS as MS-64 DMPL (not attributed to the GSA hoard, but presumably so), and an 1884-CC is graded by NGC also as MS-64... |

1882-CC SEGS MS-65.
This is semi-prooflike Carson City issue has reflective fields and sharply struck devices. There are a few ticks in the fields that makes this coin look a bit more like an MS-64 than an MS-65. |
