(About The Images)

Lot Title:
1874 (BG-1124, R.4 H) dollar PCGS MS-62.
Description:
Deep bronze-gold patina endows this gold dollar with a very original appearance, the eye appeal enhanced by distinctly prooflike character on both sides. As with many designs of the era, the Indian looks more Hawaiian than anything else, with what looks like tropical leaves sticking up out of his headdress.
