Description:

Plush, multi-hued gold tone drapes beautifully across both sides, providing a desirable two-tone color scheme for this early gold coin. Weak central striking definition could deceive the observer into perceiving too low a grade, considering the amount of luster still remaining. Sadly, a hair thin scratch nearly bisects the obverse and deprives certification, yet it is virtually invisible from normal viewing perspective. An inexpensive way to fill a type hole with a suitably original representative.
