Lot Title: 1935-S 3 Rays. PCGS MS-65 CAC.
Description: Magnificent velvet luster shimmers off the obverse side, well complemented by stunning satin sheen on the reverse that pulsates and glows with boundless energy as the coin is gently tilted back and forth. 1935-S just isn't supposed to come this nice! In addition, this appears to be an absolutely original coin with no evidence of having ever been dipped, and the strike quality is impeccable. A hands-down no-question gem, housed in a PCGS green-label holder.

669The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$290.00
1935-S 3 Rays. NGC MS-63.
Nicer than expected of the MS-63 grade, since both sides feature scintillating satin frost and torrential luster. An admirably struck, choice 1925-S.
702The Collectors' Auction 2009 on 10/16/2009$600.00
1935-S 3 Rays. PCGS MS-65.
While perhaps gem quality at the time of certification, potential bidders are alerted to a large black deposit that now resides on the far left obverse rim that probably developed after encapsulation.
827The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$390.00
1935-S "3 Rays." PCGS MS-64.
Temptingly close to a fully "gem" assessment are the terrific cartwheel luster and strike. A handling mark is noted above Liberty's brow, and her lower face is touched by a superficial scrape.
779The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$400.00
1935-S 3 Rays. PCGS MS-64.
A profuse layer of haze adheres to each side, subduing the mint luster to some extent, though mint brilliance peeps through some of the protected recesses outlining the eagle. Light marks would be...
780The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$925.00
1935-S 3 Rays. NGC MS-65.
Marvelous mint luster twirls gleefully around this purely original Peace dollar. Though graded MS-65, the eye appeal is considerably augmented by the booming luster and utterly defect-free surfaces....
798The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$500.00
1935-S 3 Rays. NGC MS-64.
This satiny white San Francisco issue exhibits a rich obverse aspect, while its reverse emits an enhancing aura enveloping the Eagle. Well-defined detail is displayed.
969The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$625.00
1935-S 3 Rays. NGC MS-64.
Save for a couple too many light scuffs and tiny ticks, this frosty white example from this last year of issue would be at the next grade level. A handsome specimen with an alluring cartwheel...
