Description:

Familiar to many collectors is the "twelve piece gold type set", with this version comprised of uncertified examples. Each coin in this set has at least XF details, though none quite meet standards for a fully uncirculated grade. As always, the three-dollar coin is the highlight, in this case represented by an 1878 that grades AU. The other coins are as follows: 1852 Ty 1 $1 XF, 1885 Ty 2 $1 XF, 1861 Ty 3 $1 XF, 1904 $2.50 AU/cleaned, 1913 $2.50 XF, 1899-S $5 AU, 1914-D $5 MS-60, 1901 $10 AU, 1910-D $10 AU, 1907 $20 AU/cleaned, and 1908 Motto $20 AU.
