Lot Title:
Five Fine to VF Capped Bust quarters.
Description:
Five different issues in the bust quarter series make up this outstanding group. 1818 B-2 is an absolutely perfect and exceedingly original VF that, incredibly, displays hints of luster at the edges. 1821 B-1 grades F and is also incredibly original, while 1825/3 B-2 grades VF and has only light tan-grey patina. 1828 B-4 grades VF and features compelling high-contrast circulation cameo, but suffers a noticeable old scratch through the top of Liberty's cap, while the grouping is completed by an 1834 B-1 grading VF. Very seldom may bidders acquire a group of bust quarters this nice with a single winning bid! All in all, an absolutely stellar five coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
