(About The Images)
1936 Oregon. PCGS MS-67. 1936 Oregon. PCGS MS-67.
Lot Title: 1936 Oregon. PCGS MS-67.
Description: A marvelous strike proclaims this lovely work of art. While the 1936 Boone is not rare at all even in the lofty MS-67 grade, it is pure numismatic pleasure to see such an impeccably original and well preserved example of the type, particularly in a PCGS green-label holder. As expected, both sides are wonderfully free from contact marks, and particularly noticeable is the lovely mother-of-pearl patina that manages to avoid suppressing any luster. Citrus-gold tinges the right edge of the obverse and the lower edge of the reverse, but yields quickly to the predominantly dove-grey tone.
