(About The Images)
1798 B-13, BB-108, Rarity-1, Large Eagle. VF-30. 1798 B-13, BB-108, Rarity-1, Large Eagle. VF-30.
Lot Title: 1798 B-13, BB-108, Rarity-1, Large Eagle. VF-30.
Description: An aesthetically appealing 1798 variety combining both a "Pointed 9" for the obverse's date and a "Small Letters" reverse, plus only 10 Arrows appear in the Eagle's left talon. An antique aspect is presented by its medium gray surfaces that unite with deeper pewter hues. A normal occurrence for these large and heavy early silver coins are minor rim bruises such as observed on this particular date. Also several adjustment marks, which are seen on Liberty's profile, are noted for this attribution. The design elements are sharp and well centered.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
