(About The Images)
1893 PCGS MS-62. 1893 PCGS MS-62.
Lot Title: 1893 PCGS MS-62.
Description: Hard, almost brassy luster shimmers about in spite of an ample supply of tiny abrasions. Peripheral details, such as the obverse stars, are amazingly sharp, but the broad central area was not struck well enough to eradicate numerous planchet striations that maintain their presence diagonally across Liberty's portrait.
Low Estimate: $1,500.00
High Estimate: $1,650.00
Lot Status: Bidding has been closed for this lot.
Hammered Price: $1,400.00

1106The Collectors' Auction 2008 on 10/17/2008$1,450.00
1893 NGC MS-62.
Probably a little nicer than typical for the grade, and certainly thoroughly struck, even at the center of every star. A highly lustrous coin.
578The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$750.00
1893 NGC MS-62.
A magnificent orange-gold emanates from its glowing lustrous surfaces. Minimally marked, and handsomely struck.
