(About The Images)
1810 (O-105) NGC MS-61. 1810 (O-105) NGC MS-61.
Lot Title: 1810 (O-105) NGC MS-61.
Description: In later, more common die states, O-105 may show little milling at the edges, but this earlier example displays a nice rim all the way around both sides, with the majority of the dentilation still plainly seen. Further, the strike quality is quite a bit sharper than average, with the clasp and both major hair curls behind the ear sharply defined, and wing feathers exactingly detailed. Rustic patina gathers across the surfaces in a low-contrast disposition of pewter-tan and khaki-olive tone. Luster pervades the fields, muted by the extensive original patina. Not a flashy coin by any means, but one whose quality may be appreciated by astute collectors of the series.

1810 (O-103, R.2) AU details/questionable color.
From the standpoint of details, this is a "slider" uncirculated bust half-dollar, regrettably overdipped, and further, the obverse is splashed with an odd, chemically induced toning pattern. Mottled...

1810 (O-101a, R.1) AU.
CONSIGNOR: Such a smooth coin. I love the die crack of course, which I guess is why these are so popular. That tone on the back is interesting -- looks dark from here but [tilting coin] looks bright...

1810 O-105, R-2. NGC MS-62.
Gorgeous multi-colored entwined tones of reddish gold and violet-blue envelops the shimmering surfaces of this appealing specimen depicting an heirloom aspect. An insignificant planchet defect is...
