Lot Title:

Nine 1955 thru 1963 Proof Franklin half-dollar sets in Capital Plastics' holders.
|
Description:
|
The consignor seemed bent upon assembling a roll set of proof Franklin half-dollars dated 1955 - 1963, and was nearly half way there before regaining his sanity. There are nine such runs, each housed in a handsome Capital Plastic holder. These are exceptionally high quality coins, examination of each suggests the coins are all at least "gem" or nicer. A number also display cameo effect and would almost surely certify as such. An impressive brick of coins!
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
