Description:

The majority of pieces in this Dansco album for Shield Nickels, dated 1866 - 1883, are what collectors affectionately call "rusty shield nickels". Date include 1866, 1867 rays, 1867 no rays, 1868, 1869, 1870, 1872, 1873, 1874, 1875, 1876, 1882 and 1883. This latter coin is the sole high grade piece, worthy of an AU-50 grade.
