Lot Title: 1934 $100.00 Cleveland Star. PMG GemCU-65
Description: Fr-2152D*. Here is a rare find. Cleveland 1934 $100 stars in such a wonderful state of preservation are just not readily available, and the demand for these high-grade notes continue to increase. This example is every bit the Gem-65 grade it was awarded.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Low Estimate: $1,000.00
High Estimate: $1,200.00

Five sequential 1934 $100.00 Chicago. CHCU.
Fr-2152G. Enclosed in their original bank "colored bill strap" is this set of five one-hundreds. The first four may grade "gem", though faint thumb stains may be apparent in the upper right corner...

Eight 1934 $100.00 Saint Louis. CU.

Four 1934 $100.00 Saint Louis. PCGS CHCU-63PPQ.
Fr-2152H. Four consecutively numbered Light Green Seals that are all Choice. They are each well-deserving of the PPQ designation as that is clearly the case with these examples.

1934 $100.00 St. Louis Star. VF.
Fr-2152H*. An original $100 star that faces up well. The paper is still mostly crisp.

Three Sequential 1934 $100.00 St. Louis. AU.
Fr-2152H. A trio of fresh, crisp, and original Light Green Seals that would be Gems without a very light center fold visible on each. Consecutive serial numbers.

1934 $100.00 Chicago Star. PMG AU-55.
Fr-2152G*. The top margin is cut a bit tight, but this is an admirable note as an AU. A corner-tip fold appears to be the reason it was not awarded the Uncirculated grade. Scarce star.

Three 1934 $100.00 St. Louis. CHCU.
Fr-2152H. Run of three Light Green Seals in original condition. One note does have a small pinhole, but otherwise they appear virtually perfect.

1934 $100.00 Cleveland Star. PMG CHCU-64.
Fr-2152D*. Oh so close to being a Gem. In fact, it appears to have all of the qualities of a Gem. The layout appears almost perfect, the note is fairly bright, and the corners are sharp. Back check...

1934 $100.00 Chicago Star. XF+.
Fr-2152G*. Some will likely call this note AU and hear very little, if any, argument. Only one center fold and a little handling on the obverse. The top margin is cut a bit tight, but not into the...

1934 $100.00 Cleveland Star. CHCU.
