Lot Title:
1869 $10.00. VF.
Description:
Fr-96. Nine denominations of rainbow notes were pressed on special paper, with features to deter counterfeiting that included bands of blue color, and a large number of silk fibers. This is a nicer example that retains some vibrancy of color, though the paper itself is moderately faded from use.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fr# 96. Lovely, vibrant "star" rainbow ten with strong margins on the front, but too much downward shift on the back, putting the bottom margin through the design. |

Fr-96. A bright and colorful $10 rainbow note. The ink presence on the back is spectacular. The bottom margin is a tad tight, but the overall appearance is quite commendable. Uncommon this pretty. |
