Lot Title:
Nearly Complete Set of Buffalo Nickels.
Description:
This set lacks only the 1913-S Type II and is made up of coins in the VF an XF grades. It also includes a few Uncs. Both the 1913-D issues are better than VF-30. The 1915-D and 1916-D are better than VF-20. The 1918-S is a choice XF+. The 1914-D is a well-struck XF. The branch mint 1919 issues are both VF. The 1921-S grades VG. The 1926-S is a full horn VF-30 with sheen that is a little too bright . The 1930-S is an AU, and the 1935 is an MS-63, minimum. Take a good look as this lot offers high quality coins with few problems.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
