Lot Title:
Eight Silver Commemorative half-dollars.
Description:
None of these commemorative half-dollars are certified, but together, they form a lot of outstanding quality. Included are: 1893 Columbian (MS-60/very lightly cleaned), 1936 Bay Bridge (MS-60/very lightly cleaned), 1935/1934 Boone (MS-65), 1936 Lynchburg (MS-64), 1926 Oregon Trail (MS-63), 1936 Rhode Island (MS-64), 1937 Roanoke (MS-63 and looks MS-66+, but has a few extremely faint reverse hairlines), and 1925 Stone Mountain (MS-65). This last coin may well grade at least a point higher, and all eight of the coins in this lot are nice, white and untoned.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
