(About The Images)
1926-D PCGS MS-64FB. 1926-D PCGS MS-64FB.
Lot Title: 1926-D PCGS MS-64FB.
Description: Prominent evidence of die clashing surrounds Liberty's portrait, yet the dies remained fresh enough to impart fully separated bands on the reverse. There is no lack of mint luster on either side of this little jewel, and wintergreen tone enhances the frosty obverse, yielding to slightly more opaque sea-green color on the reverse.
Low Estimate: $380.00
High Estimate: $475.00
Lot Status: Bidding has been closed for this lot.

1926-D NGC MS-65 FB.
1926-D might not stand out in most collectors' consciousness as a better date in the Mercury dime series, but at the MS-65 FB level, NGC has certified only 39 coins, with 9 in higher grade --...
289The Collectors' Auction 2009 on 10/16/2009$425.00
1926-D PCGS MS-64FB.
There is no question of the full bands designation, and the implied strike quality follows throughout, as this is a finely detailed coin. A scattering of carbon spots peppers the field in front of...

1926-D PCGS MS-64FB.
Superb russet-crimson and blue iridescent hues gives a royal aspect to this issue's gleaming satinlike surfaces. Magnificently struck with evidence of die clashing immediately before Liberty's...
