(About The Images)
1926-D, 1927-D and 1929-D PCGS MS-65. 1926-D, 1927-D and 1929-D PCGS MS-65.
Lot Title: 1926-D, 1927-D and 1929-D PCGS MS-65.
Description: Three MS-65 Denver mint Standing Liberty quarters are combined to create an outstanding lot of PCGS graded coins. The 1926-D is just sporadically toned and has a jagged die crack extending through Liberty's head. The 1927-D features pleasing iridescence along the right side, but is technically the weakest of the three coins due to a scraped area just above the center of Liberty's torso. Finally, a 1929-D is technically the strongest of the lot, due to wholesome, original patina and a respectable strike for an issue that was poorly produced.
Low Estimate: $1,100.00
High Estimate: $1,250.00

477The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$210.00
1926-D With Obverse Rim Cud, PCGS MS-64+.
Brock Megran Collection. 1926-D ranks as one of THE most difficult quarters to find with full head details, so it is not surprise that this example shows flatness there instead. Interestingly, a...
478The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$325.00
1926-D PCGS MS-65 CAC.
Brock Megran Collection. Smoky greyish patina endows the entire coin with vintage demeanor that will be hotly pursued by those who demand un"improved" coins. The intact patina diffuses the luster...
548The Collectors' Auction 2012 on 10/05/2012$10,500.00
Thirty-nine 1926-D Standing Liberty quarters, Uncirculated.
An almost incredible group, this tube falls just one BU coin shy of a complete 1926 roll, and they are spectacular coins. The edges seem to match up perfectly, implying a long time together, and the...
559The Midwest Summer Sale 2012 on 07/27/2012$210.00
1926-D PCGS MS-64.
The head is modestly scooped, barring any chance of the "FH" designation, with sharpness otherwise perhaps a touch above average for 1926-D. Both sides exhibit blazing luster and just the lightest...

1926-D SLQ NGC MS-65, 1880-S Morgan dollar PCGS MS-65, and a 1936...
A trio of brilliant type coins, all certified. An 1880-S dollar in a PCGS green-label holder is extremely white and graded MS-65; a 1926-D quarter features a somewhat better strike than average for...
668The Midwest Summer Sale on 07/24/2009$450.00
1926-D and 1930 NGC MS-64.

1926-D MS-64 Die Cracks.
This series is well known to provide very few opportunities for the error specialist. Except for the famous 1918/7-S, there are no prominent varieties known to exist. It is difficult to locate error...
