(About The Images)
1825 (O-114, R.1) AU. 1825 (O-114, R.1) AU.
Lot Title: 1825 (O-114, R.1) AU.
Description: Substantial cartwheel luster permeates both sides and sparkles readily as this coin is tilted under a lamp. The vanilla-beige patina is very original, as is a pleasing touch of indigo and cobalt toning lying just outside the perimeter of the obverse stars, and across the lower reverse border. Two thin, inconspicuous scratches appears above Liberty's bust, and are reflected in your cataloger's assigned overall grade of AU-50, though the technical grade is at least five points higher. Pretty coin!

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Five 1825 (O-101, O-102, O-104, O-111, and O-115), all XF/cleaned.
Courteous Collection of Early Type. The cleaning isn't that dramatic for any member of this 1825 quintet, and indeed, a couple seem to have XF-45 sharpness and a lot of luster for the conservative...
661The Collectors' Auction - 2014 on 10/17/2014$853.00
Three 1825 (O-110, O-113, and O-117), all UNC/cleaned.
Courteous Collection of Early Type. Cleaning varies in strength for this trio, but each also seems to carry UNC details, which means they are ripe to be placed into proper storage for the long road...

1825 (O-107, R.2) NGC MS-62.

545The Midwest Summer Sale 2010 on 07/23/2010$1,200.00
1825 (O-107) NGC MS-62.
Far more original than the many bust halves that have been dipped white, the eye-appeal for this dusty, dusky half stems from potent cartwheel effect beneath a wonderful veneer of platinum-grey...

1825 O-101 NGC AU-58.
Ex-Robinson Brown, Jr. This is an extremely original early half that is perfectly graded by NGC as a borderline uncirculated coin. Bisque toning suffuses the surfaces entirely, except for the...

1825 O-114 MS-60 Details, Altered Surfaces.
A fruity combination of mulberry and pomegranate colors lend considerable appeal to the obverse but has a little less effect on the reverse. However, the unique color combination does not entirely...

1825 O-101, R-1. MS-61.
This specimen exhibits a frosty white aspect with a whisper of iridescence bedecking its satinlike surfaces. There are no obtrusive marks or blemishes on this prominently struck type example.
586The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$340.00
1825 AU-58 O-107 R-2.
This is one of the more common dates in the series, but it is super nice. Incandescent rose hues can be observed on the obverse and reserves along with tones of blue, violet, and orange. It is stuck...

1825 ANACS MS-61.
An example of O-113, Rarity-1, which radiates a soft, satiny lustrous surface quality. It is further embellished with a warm golden champagne blush. Boldly struck with no unsightly marks or...
