Description:

For many years, no large sized notes at all were known for this Henderson County bank. This is the discovery note large sized note for the First National Bank of the small town of Lexington, Tennessee, a small bank with a very small output. It is only moderately worn, with reasonably crisp paper and some bluish stains rubbed across the left half of the front. Both signatures are very faded, the cashier's perhaps half missing.
