(About The Images)
1926 Oregon. PCGS MS-66. 1926 Oregon. PCGS MS-66.
Lot Title: 1926 Oregon. PCGS MS-66.
Description: Remarkable eye appeal separates this Oregon from the norm, with a rustic, low-contrast and surprisingly well integrated combination of violet-mauve and sea-green iridescence on the obverse, and a similar color scheme that coalesces even more brightly on the reverse. Here, on the reverse, the palette paints a lovely life-like stormy sky above the covered wagon, and brings to mind an artists rendition of the famed 2000 mile overland migration. An understated and drop-dead gorgeous coin.
