Lot Title:
1880 $10.00. VG.
Description:
Fr-287. The large SILVER motif on the back is popular with collectors, and despite the considerable wear, this is a modestly attractive representative of a tough issue. Bold signatures and very acceptable edges, with about a half dozen or so visible pinholes.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Fr-289. Though admittedly worn nearly ragged, with internal voids and shaggy edges, this very tough 1880 $10 silver certificate is obviously low grade, yet it is intact. Signatures are vivid despite... |
