Lot Title:
1870 RPD, S-5, ANACS VG Details/Net Good-4/corroded and 1870 DDO & DDR (FS-008.6/7). ANACS VF-25.
Description:
Small ANACS holders contain certified 1870 Indian head cents. The first is graded VG/corroded, net G-4, and is attributed as Snow-5 "RPD", shown really as a misplaced date in the denticles. The appearance of this coin is not as bad as implied by the disclaimer. The second is graded VF-25 and attributed as DDO and DDR, or FS-008.6/7. Although "Longacre doubling" is apparent on the obverse, the DDO attribution really refers to the doubling of the feather tips, and the reverse doubling is most noticeable on the inner points of the "E"s in the denomination. Two coin lot.
