(About The Images)
1935/1934 (PDS) Boone commemorative half-dollars. 1935/1934 (PDS) Boone commemorative half-dollars.
Lot Title: 1935/1934 (PDS) Boone commemorative half-dollars.
Description: Although two of the Boone halves in this lot are certified (the 1935/34-D and 1935/34-S), the 1935/34 Philadelphia coin was rejected for an "improperly cleaned obverse". The cleaning is revealed as a fairly innocuous patch of hairlines in the upper left quadrant of the obverse, but the reverse grades MS-66. The 1935/34-D is graded MS-65, and the 1935/34-S is graded MS-63. The latter coin has an obverse milk spot and a few wispy hairlines to account for the grade. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Low Estimate: $750.00
High Estimate: $850.00
