Lot Title:
1860 "Pointed Bust" PCGS MS-64.
Description:
Nobody would hesitate to call this a full four-diamond Indian head cent, as they are all four needle sharp, along with the rest of the coin's detail. Supporting the notion of fresh dies is the slightly prooflike aspect of the reverse. A fully gem grade is denied by two small bagmarks on Liberty's brow and a carbon spot resting on the right side of the reverse shield, but the eye appeal of this coin is instantly recognizable.
