Lot Title:
Set of Washington Quarters.
Description:
This is a far-above-average collector set that starts with the 1932 issues and concludes with the 1981 issues. The important page number one contains an MS64+ 1932-P and a 1932-D in XF+. The 1932-S is an AU-58. The 1935-P, 1935-S, 1936-S, 1937-P, 1938-P, 1939-D, 1940-P, and 1940-D are all fresh-roll-quality Uncirculated coins. The 1936-D is absent. The remainder of the silver set is made up of nice Uncs. The "P" Mint coins from 1951 through 1964 are all Proofs. The second book, which houses coins dated 1965 through 1981, are all Uncirculated of Proof. This collector obviously spent years putting together a set with such high eye appeal.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
