Lot Title:
1851-C Coronet half-eagle, ANACS XF-45, cleaned
Description:
As expected of the ANACS disclaimer, a bit overly bright, especially at the all-important "C" mintmark area, where an eraser has been used, apparently to enhance the visibility of the Charlotte initial. In all fairness, aside from being cleaned, this is not the prettiest coin, having been well handled on its journey through the channels of commerce.
