1917-S and two additional NGC certified Mercury dimes 1917-S and two additional NGC certified Mercury dimes
Lot Title: 1917-S and two additional NGC certified Mercury dimes
Description: NGC has certified each of these coins. The 1917-S is graded MS-65 and is draped in peach tones along the upper and right sides of the obverse, and features a couple of tiny die breaks at the nose that look like warts. The 1939 is graded PF-65 and is nearly a pristine coin, with a couple of micro-tick marks left of the profile determining the grade. The lot is rounded out by a sensational blazing-white 1940-S graded MS-67 FB. This coin is barred from a higher grade only by a tiny tick below the central fasces on the reverse, and displays a nifty die break at the back of Liberty's cheek. Three coin lot.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Low Estimate: $550.00
High Estimate: $675.00
