Lot Title:
1851-O and two additional scarcer certified Seated Liberty quarters
Description:
Two of the quarters in this lot are significantly better dates, and the third is scarce for the grade. The first coin is an 1851-O in ANACS F-15. It is perfectly graded, and only the first letter in LIBERTY is weak. The second coin is an 1853/4 in ANACS XF-40. This is a perfectly original coin and a later die-state for the variety. Finally, an album toned 1854 "with arrows" in an NGC AU-55 grade rounds out the lot. An easy way to fill three tough holes in a complete set. Three coin lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
