Lot Title:
|
1900 and twenty additional different PCGS certified silver dollars Unc.
|
Description:
|
A terrific selection of twenty-one different silver dollars that can be used to jump-start a certified collection. Included are thirteen Morgan dollars and two Peace dollars, tallied as follows: 1879-S (MS-63), 1880 (MS-63), 1880-S (MS-63), 1881-S (MS-64), 1882-S (MS-63), 1883-O (MS-63), 1884-O (MS-63), 1885 (MS-63), 1885-O (MS-64), 1886 (MS-64), 1887 (MS-63), 1898-O (MS-63), 1899-O (MS-64), 1900 (MS-64), 1900-O (MS-64), 1902-O (MS-64), 1904-O (MS-63), 1921 Morgan (MS-63), 1922 (MS-63), 1923 (MS-63), and 1925 (MS-63). Appearances vary from extremely blast-white through nicely toned, and there are no "ugly" coins in this lot at all. This is an unusual opportunity to accumulate a good selection of coins from the era of conservative grading, as every single coin is encapsulated in an old PCGS "rattler" slab. Twenty-one coin lot from the "River's Edge Collection".

B+ quality by our rating system. While the 1900 is a common date, these are better than average dollars, most of them showing a rather clean cheek. Look for a narrow grade range of MS-63 +/-... |

Several of the 1921 dollars are quite scruffy and will only be able to achieve an MS-60 grade, but are balanced by a majority in the MS-62 to MS-63 grade range. A roll marked "1900" actually contains... |

BU roll of 1900 Morgan silver dollars.

Spot checking coins in this tube of 1900 Morgan dollars implies that these are above average, with grades mostly in the MS-64 range. The majority are blinding white pieces, but a few display tasteful... |

1900 and 1921 Paramount.

The 1900 offered here is a true Gem-- MS-65 with no problems. Concentric rings of pea-green and chartreuse-gold drive the outstanding eye-appeal. The 1921 grades MS-64 overall, though the reverse is... |
