Lot Title: 1899-S Coronet half-eagle, PCGS MS-63
Description: An intriguing blend of copper-gold and peppermint shades conjoin throughout areas of the reverse, especially around the edges of the eagle's silhouette, and gather near the edge of the obverse. Toned gold is not common, and the present original example should please collectors of such pieces. Reasonably well struck, with a spray of tiny bagmarks in the left obverse field, as is typical of the grade.
