Lot Title:

Three Obsolete Banknotes certified by PCGS, as described.
|
Description:
|
These probably offer value about equal to each other in this trio of obsolete Southern notes. First is Ocee Bank, Cleveland, TN $1(PCGS 58), an ABNCo proof that has been neatly hole-punch cancelled. Next is Bank of the State of South Carolina, Charleston $4 (PCGS 50 apparent, tear near LL corner) with is also hole punched as an ABNCo proof. Finally, a Bank of the State of South Carolina, Charleston $100 (PCGS 55) is designated as "special proof" for ABNCo and is uncancelled. Three note lot.
This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.
