Lot Title: 1880 $5 Small Seal PMG CHCU-63/great embossing.
Description: Fr# 80. PMG notes "great embossing" on the back of the holder, but we'd be tempted to note excellent paper quality as well, given the pleasing brilliance and lovely ink. A beautiful woodchopper with pleasing margins all the way around.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

Cut sheet of four 1880 $5 Small Seal, all PMG certified, as described.
Fr# 80. Four notes from a cut sheet of 1880 legal tender fives. Two grade PMG 64 and another PMG 63, but curiously, one note picked up only an AU-58 grade. All have been designated for EPQ paper.

1880 $5 Small Seal. AU.
Fr# 81. Very good margins surround this entirely original 1880 legal tender. Choice CU with an exemplary presentation for the grade.

1880 $5.00. Small Seal. PMG CHCU-63 EPQ.
Fr# 80. Here is a terrific original, early woodchopper with gorgeous paper, as mentioned by PMG, and deep ink. A very narrow bottom margin likely bars a higher grade, and we see a minor bend at the...

1880 $5.00. Small Seal. PMG CHCU-63 EPQ.
Fr# 80. Beautiful "wood chopper", rather well centered and bright as can be. Fully original, the paper still displays faint staining on the far right side.

Two 1880 $5.00. Small Seal. AU.
