Lot Title:
1842-O PCGS AU-50.
Description:
Mintage: 27,400. Minor abrasions have to be expected of the AU level, especially for a branch-mint eagle, and the obverse displays a couple of shallow but rather sharp and shiny contact spots above Liberty’s portrait. Both sides retain considerable luster, with action on the reverse particularly frisky around the peripheral lettering. (PCGS# 008587)
