(About The Images)
1900 MS-63. 1900 MS-63.
Lot Title: 1900 MS-63.
Description: Proof that choice gold coins can still be found unencapsulated, this 1900 gold eagle displays all the characteristics desired of MS-63. Potent multi-spoked luster borders on spectacular and joins with terrific sharpness to suggest that the dies were practically new when they hammered the coin, and surfaces exhibit very attractive satin texture. A few luster grazes define the grade.

This lot may contain an item not certified by ANACS, PCGS, or NGC. While Scotsman Auction Co. is typically conservative in our descriptions of items not certified by one of these companies, we cannot guarantee our grading estimation will match their grade. We highly recommend that collectors seeking items certified by a third-party grading service only bid on items that have already been certified. No lot can be returned because of a variance in judgment with regards to grade.

1900 PCGS MS-61.
Frictional abrasion is typical of the grade, but mint luster is prominently featured on both sides. A short hairline scratch at the center of the date must be noted. Housed in a PCGS rattler holder.
1016The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$900.00
1900 PCGS MS-63.
Decently struck, with a couple of stars lacking central definition. Royal gold tone predominates, embraced in areas by subtle bronze-gold accents.
415The Collector's Auction on 10/20/2006$400.00
1900 PCGS MS-61.
A warm orange blush copiously blankets this last year example from the nineteenth century. Some scattered minute contact ticks and a scant number of abrasions do not diminish the eye appeal of this...
1148The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/17/2006$850.00
1900 NGC MS-63.
Glowing yellow-gold surfaces void of toning. The detail is solid, but the overall appearance is not quite flashy enough to be considered PQ. However, it is still solid for the grade and a fitting...
