(About The Images)
1908-D NGC MS-63. 1908-D NGC MS-63.
Lot Title: 1908-D NGC MS-63.
Description: Lovely orange-gold patina is finely dusted across the surfaces, providing a consistently attractive format for original eye-appeal. The obverse is a touch nicer than the reverse, since the latter side displays several small abrasions scattered about IGWT, yet the overall quality is adequate for MS-63.

512The Collectors' Auction 2011 on 10/21/2011$425.00
1908-D PCGS AU-58.
1908-D is semi-key at the MS-65 level, but way down here at AU-58, it fall squarely into the "common date" category. This is a very bright, nearly white-gold example, very slightly worn as implied by...
819The Midwest Winter Sale on 02/12/2010$625.00
1908-D NGC MS-61.
Aesthetically a bit more pleasing than the MS-61 grade implies, as there is some duochromaticism evident on the design highpoints. In other words, royal-gold accents touch some of the devices.
925The Midwest Winter Sale 2009 on 02/13/2009$290.00
1908-D NGC AU-50 Golden Gate Collection.
Slightly greyish dullness may inhibit any remaining mint luster, but at the AU-50 level, the expected amount of wear will have removed some flowline luster anyhow. From the Golden Gate Collection.
483The Midwest Summer Sale 2006 on 07/21/2006$3,200.00
1908-D NGC MS-63.
An exemplary specimen displaying superb orange-gold surfaces complemented by a blush of rose. Its vivid satinlike aspect camouflages the random marks barely detected with a glass. A handsome issue...
